Victoria & Albert’s
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and SpaVictoria and Albert’s doesn’t only make my top five Walt Disney World restaurants, it makes my top five restaurants of all time; the menu is sublime and the service, faultless.I won’t sugar coat it… the restaurant is expensive… stupidly expensive, but its a five diamond award winning fine dining restaurant with an exquisite 10 course menu, expensive is pretty much expected. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the 10 course tasting menu with a wine pairing
($340 each), which after a few menu upgrades, such as the addition of wagyu beef, and the service charge found us paying just over $900 for the evening.Disney Dining Plan: Unsurprisingly, not accepted.
Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
Narcoosees is located in my absolute favourite hotel on Disney property, overlooking the Seven Seas Lagoon, and specialises in amazing seafood dishes; think, huge portions of lobster, crab legs, surf and turf.Despite all of the impressive dishes on display, it would be wrong to mention Narcoosees and not mention their mashed potatoes… honestly some of the best ever, fully loaded with cheese, bacon and spring onions – the perfect pairing to any main course, from steak to lobster.Disney Dining Plan: 2 Table Service Credits
Disney’s Contemporary ResortCalifornia Grill is a spot that excels in both food and atmosphere. The food is impressive, specialising in sushi and grilled meats (my favourite combination of foods). Both manage to be brilliant, with the sushi always wonderfully fresh and the steak both high quality and mammoth in portion size.
We usually try to nab a window seat, overlooking the castle as we eat, but the true magic of the California Grill comes during the fireworks, when music is played throughout the restaurant and on its balcony, as you are given the chance to watch from the most perfect of viewing spots.Disney Dining Plan: 2 Table Service Credits
Le Cellier is probably the most famous of the Disney steakhouses. The Canadian themed restaurant in Epcot prides itself on serving a variety of different and amazing cuts of beef.Start with the Poutine for some authentic Canadian deliciousness, but save room for the main event. The Filet Mignon at Le Cellier is the restaurant’s signature dish and with good reason. Its rich, decadent, and incredible: Canadian Tenderloin atop of a creamy mushroom risotto, topped with a truffle butter sauce for good measure. Order it and thank me later.Disney Dining Plan: 2 Table Service Credits
Hollywood Brown Derby
Hollywood Brown Derby is a staple Disney World restaurant located in Hollywood Studios. Focussing on classic dishes, Hollywood Brown Derby is a reliable choice. The reason it makes one of my top five Table Service restaurants is the Fantasmic! Dining Package that it offers. Unlike other restaurants on the dining plan, when you go along to Hollywood Brown Derby on the Fantasmic! Dining Package you receive an appetiser, entrée, dessert, a non alcoholic beverage and a VIP seating voucher for the show that evening, which is unbelievably helpful, as anyone who’s ever had to queue for an age to get in before will tell you.Disney Dining Plan: 2 Table Service CreditsBonus
Next time I’ll be taking a look at my top 5 Quick Service restaurants across Walt Disney World.
Which are your favourite Disney Table Service restaurants?
